Large numbers of waterfowl may be seen on the dam and a few head of game are present on the grassland plains. Location: South-eastern part of Free State; south-east of Bloemfontein. Access: From Bloemfontein follow the N8 towards Thaba Nchu for approximately 60 km; turn off to the right and watch for signposts. Accommodation: None. Camping is permitted and there are basic facilities. Other facilities: Watersports and fishing; picnic sites with fireplaces. Open: Throughout the year. Opening time: 24 hours. |
